LUNG FORCE Heroes

Susan J.

In the spring of 2015 I got a call from my brother, Steve, that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer. Thus began a journey none of us wants to take.

For the next nine months, my dear brother struggled and fought this disease courageously, but to no avail. I lost my 59-year-old brother to lung cancer on February 12, 2016. Steve was full of life. A husband, father, grandfather. He was an amateur photographer as well as pilot. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him. I am involved in LUNG FORCE in hopes that by raising awareness that other families will not have to watch their loved ones suffer from this terrible disease.
