Local Experts to Address Back-to-School Lung Health in Free Virtual Event

Led by the American Lung Association, the public webinar will feature local experts discussing pediatric asthma, air pollution and kids, COVID-19 vaccines in children, and more

On Thursday, August 5 at 12 p.m., the American Lung Association will host North Carolina Community Connections, presented by Novant Health and Wells Fargo. This free 30-minute educational webinar features leading experts on pediatric health and air quality and will focus on Back-to-School Lung Health, as most North Carolina children will return to in-person learning this fall. 

North Carolina Community Connections is an educational speaker series focused on health. For the August event, the public is invited to hear from experts who will discuss pediatric asthma, air pollution and kids, COVID-19 vaccines in children, and more. Attendees will also get a chance to ask the experts questions about their children’s lung health.
