American Lung Association in New Mexico Welcomes New Leadership Board Members

The American Lung Association in New Mexico is proud to welcome Mark Rickert and Will Wilson to its Albuquerque-based local leadership board. This all-volunteer board provides leadership and governance in support of the American Lung Association mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.

“We are thrilled to have Mark and Will join our growing Local Leadership Board to help battle lung disease right here in Albuquerque,” said Victoria Byrd, Market Lead and Development Director for the American Lung Association in New Mexico. “Both new members bring years of leadership experience, deep business and civic relationships, and a passion to help our community breathe a bit easier through their dedication to lung health.”

Mark Rickert is the owner and CEO of Rickert Property Group, an Albuquerque-based real estate investment company he founded with his wife Karla. Mark’s passion for lung disease stems from having lost family members to lung disease and his belief that the organization’s research, advocacy and education efforts are important to creating a healthier New Mexico for all its residents.

Will Wilson brings years of leadership experience from his professional life, where he functions as a Regional Operations Manager for Superior Ambulance Service here in Albuquerque, NM. There he has managed and trained hundreds of individuals and organizations to ensure the best possible emergency care for families throughout the region. Mark has several family members coping with the difficulties of asthma and has seen first-hand the devastating toll lung disease takes on New Mexico families.
