Today, the American Lung Association in Kansas & Greater Kansas City announced that it will host its 2022 LUNG FORCE Gala, presented by The Accurso Law Firm, at Children’s Mercy Park, home of Sporting Kansas City, on May 12 at 5:30 p.m. The event, held annually to raise funds to end lung disease, will provide Concourse Level seating for attendees with the jumbotron illuminated to showcase the night’s activities.
“This event is filled with unforgettable moments to support a great cause,” said Linda Crider, executive director of the Lung Association. “Attendees will get to experience live entertainment, culinary delights and surprises throughout the evening as we help kick lung cancer and lung disease out of the park. We thank our incredible partners and supporters of this event. Without their commitment, the services, programs, and research we provide in the local communities would not be possible.”
The LUNG FORCE Gala will offer opportunities for attendees to bid on silent and live auction items to help support the Lung Association’s efforts to improve lung health and prevent lung disease. An individual ticket to the event costs $150.
“The Accurso Law Firm is proud to be the visionary sponsor of this year’s LUNG FORCE Gala,” said Louis Accurso, founder of The Accurso Law Firm. “We look forward to seeing everyone come together for this special evening.”
The Lung Association is committed to putting the health of its attendees first. Therefore, guests at the 2022 LUNG FORCE Gala are encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19. The organization will continue to closely monitor local health conditions and CDC recommendations related to COVID-19.
