American Lung Association Urges Quick Consideration of Inflation Reduction Act, Which Includes Critical Lung Health Measures

Today, in response to the release of legislative text of the Inflation Reduction Act, American Lung Association’s National President and CEO Harold Wimmer issued the following statement:

“We urge Congress to act without delay on the Inflation Reduction Act. The bill contains a number of provisions that would improve access to quality and affordable healthcare and make important investments in cleaning up air pollution and addressing climate change. The Lung Association has long advocated for investments in a healthier future and urges both the Senate and House to move swiftly to pass these critical investments into law.”
