Houston Healthcare, Distribution Leaders Join Lung Association Board

Execs to serve with other board members

Today, the American Lung Association in Texas announced three new members to its Local Leadership Board of Directors. They will each serve a three year term.

The new elected members are:

  • Debbie DeMeo, COO of Kindred Hospitals
  • Lance Jones, regional marketing director of United Healthcare
  • Chanique Williams, partner of Williams 6 Distribution

The Lung Association’s Local Leadership Board of Directors, which has 19 members, helps lead the organization in its mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. The purpose of the Board is to raise the Lung Association’s profile in the community, advocate for lung health, and increase resources to fund local programs and services. Board members impact the work of the Lung Association’s programs and services, public policy, research, and revenue generation.

“We are thrilled to have Debbie, Lance and Chanique join our Local Leadership Board of Directors,” said Charlotte J. Maffia, executive director of the Lung Association. “Thanks to the service of these individuals and our other Local Leadership Board members, we are helping people in Houston breathe better.”
