Today, the American Lung Association in Texas announced two new members to its Local Leadership Board of Directors. They will each serve a three year term.

The new elected members are:

  • Clive Miskin, CEO of International Security Defense Systems
  • John Palmer, Senior Vice President of Guggenheim's Business Development Companies
  • Bob Rauker, CEO of Belluscura

The Lung Association’s Local Leadership Board of Directors, which has 18 members, helps lead the organization in its mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. The purpose of the Board is to raise the Lung Association’s profile in the community, advocate for lung health, and increase resources to fund local programs and services. Board members impact the work of the Lung Association’s programs and services, public policy, research, and revenue generation.

“Clive, Bob and John are essential members for our local work at the Lung Association. Their expertise in security and medical device technology, respectively, are critical to helping us serve all communities,” said Charlotte J. Maffia, executive director of the Lung Association. “Thanks to the service of Clive and Bob and our other Local Leadership Board members, we are helping Dallas residents breathe better.”
