GOLD 2018 Highlights: A New Approach to COPD Management will review the new recommendations and enable clinicians to apply the assessment and management strategies incorporating the latest evidence to guide development of individualized management plans for patients with COPD.
This activity is intended for pulmonologists, advanced practice nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals treating COPD in the community setting.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Diagnose the new recommendations of the GOLD 2018 therapeutic strategy and its impacts on the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of COPD
- Apply GOLD 2018 assessment and management strategies, incorporating the latest clinical evidence to guide development of individualized management plans
