We are excited to announce that we are launching our Lung Cancer Courage Kit Pilot program. A Lung Cancer Courage Kit is a bag filled with comfort items for lung cancer patients (like a blanket, coloring book and even a mask) and educational materials.
The first 300 newly diagnosed lung cancer patients enrolled in the program will receive a free Lung Cancer Courage Kit. Supplies are limited. Please only one Courage Kit per household. *
When you're facing lung cancer, you need and deserve support. The American Lung Association is here to provide newly diagnosed lung cancer patients with a Lung Cancer Courage Kit.
The items in this Courage Kit have been carefully selected to provide some comfort, help with treatment decisions and assist you in communicating with your healthcare team.
If you are a newly diagnosed lung cancer patient, joining is very simple. Listed below are the expectations for the pilot participants:
- Request a free Lung Cancer Courage Kit and provide feedback on contents and educational materials.
- Participate in two 30-minute phone interviews in a twelve month period; and
- Participate in no more than three online surveys on our lung cancer resources, programs healthcare access, COVID-19 and other lung health related topics.
Once you receive your Kit, someone from the American Lung Association will reach out to you to gather your feedback.
To receive a Courage Kit mailed directly to your house, please fill out the form below.
