Fight For Air Climb

Annually, the American Lung Association in Missouri hosts the Fight For Air Climb at the Metropolitan Square Building. After months of training and fundraising, the event concludes with a stair climb up the tallest building in St. Louis, the Metropolitan Square Building -- 40 floors and 532 steps.

In 2017, 1,290 people participated in the Fight For Air Climb at the Metropolitan Square Building, making it the 5th largest Fight for Air Climb in the country. With 157 total teams, participants raised $376,666 in the fight against lung disease.
