Begining in 2005, the American Lung Association of Minnesota has monitored COPD in Minnesota and released a report summarizing the assessment entitled Scope of COPD in Minnesota.

The 2nd edition of the Scope of COPD in Minnesota was released in January 2013. The report combines morbidity, hospitalization, emergency department, behavioral risk factor survey data, and more into one brief report.
