CPS - Connecticut Pulmonary Section of the American Lung Association of the Northeast's Medical & Scientific Branch
The Connecticut Trudeau Society was originally formed in 1950 and later became the Connecticut Thoracic Society (CTS). Now with a brand new name, "Connecticut Pulmonary Section," our focus on pulmonary and critical care medicine, sleep and respiratory therapy is as strong as ever.
The CPS provides members with professional education opportunities particularly in the areas of lung research, critical care, pulmonary rehabilitation and sleep disorders. The goal is to promote excellence in management, prevention and control of lung disease.
The CPS Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions is held in the fall each year and is highly regarded for its quality of educational sessions and is the state’s foremost annual gathering of pulmonary, respiratory care and sleep experts.
