Fight For Air Climb

The American Lung Association in Iowa’s signature fundraising event is the Fight For Air Climb in Downtown Des Moines. For this event, participants fundraise to fight lung disease and train to climb the stairwells of four prominent buildings in Downtown Des Moines, for a total of 85 floors.

In 2017, the Fight For Air Climb in Downtown Des Moines attracted more than 1,400 climbers raising more than $350,000. Participants chose to climb one, two, three, or all four buildings. The 2017 Des Moines Air Climb was recognized as the #6th climb in the country.

In 2018, the Fight For Air Climb in Downtown Des Moines will celebrate their 15th anniversary on April 8. More information and registration is available at
