Teemore Raja

Lung cancer advocate

American Lung Association in Texas

Losing your father at a young age is an undeniable heartbreak, but Teemore Raja saw it as opportunity to save others from such devastating pain. Teemore's father passed away from lung cancer in 2015, a year after he was diagnosed. The 18-year-old Tomball, Texas, resident then started organizing projects to spread lung cancer awareness in his community as a way to remember and honor his late father.
