Kent Cravens Named as Corporate Chair for the American Lung Association’s Albuquerque Fight For Air Climb

The American Lung Association in New Mexico is proud to welcome Kent Cravens as the Corporate Chair of the Albuquerque Fight For Air Climb. This position provides critical leadership and governance in support of the American Lung Association mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
“We are thrilled to have Kent Cravens join us to help battle lung disease right here in Albuquerque,” said Terry Huertaz, Executive Director for the American Lung Association in New Mexico. “His years of public service in government and experience as a business and community leader provides invaluable experience and will greatly bolster the American Lung Association’s efforts to expand our lifesaving work in the community.”
An Albuquerque native, Kent Cravens has a background as an entrepreneur, association executive and elected public official. As the Executive Vice President for the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® Kent is a policy advocate for real estate issues in the Albuquerque business community.
He proudly served three four-year terms as a New Mexico state senator in District 21 and served on numerous legislative committees. On the business side, he opened Premier Foods, Inc., an institutional food and supply wholesaler serving the local Albuquerque market in 1989. After selling Premier Foods in 1999, he started Alphagraphics US020, a quick print franchise. Over the next fourteen years, Kent and his wife Melanie built Alphagraphics to be a leader in the national franchise network.
“Kent has been an enthusiastic advocate for the American Lung Association, and we look forward to his help in expanding our extensive work,” said Huertaz.
