American Lung Association Applauds Delaware Governor for Putting the Health of our Children First
(January 17, 2019) - CHICAGO
“The American Lung Association is extremely excited to see support from Governor Carney on Tobacco 21 legislation, which will save Delaware’s youth from a lifetime of tobacco addiction. Increasing the minimum legal age of sale for all tobacco products to 21 will help save lives. One important component of the Tobacco 21 legislation is that it includes e-cigarettes. The Lung Association is very concerned that we are at risk of losing another generation to tobacco-caused diseases as the result of e-cigarettes. Therefore, we applaud Governor Carney for putting the health of our children first, and for showing support for increasing the tobacco products sales age from 18 to 21 in Delaware.”
