On January 25, the Indy Fuel Hockey team will support the American Lung Association in Indiana at their game against the Atlanta Gladiators.

This is the 4th year that the Indy Fuel partnered with the Lung Association to help raise money to support people with lung disease and lung cancer in Indiana. For the game, 100% of tickets purchased through a special link ( will benefit the Lung Association.

“Indy Fuel Hockey has been a tremendous partner of the Lung Association throughout the years. With their support, we have raised more than $20,000 to fund our work to improve air quality, educate residents on lung health and help people who live with lung disease,” said Tanya Husain, the executive director for the Lung Association. “Indy Fuel games are a perfect event for the whole family, so we encourage our community to attend to support our local hockey team, as well as clean air and healthy lungs for all Hoosiers.”

In Indiana, more than 900,000 people suffer from lung disease, and this year alone, an estimated 5,500 residents will be diagnosed with lung cancer. Indy Fuel ticket purchases will help raise awareness for lung disease, fund life-saving research, and fund critical educational programs to help local children better manage their asthma and free programs to help residents quit smoking.

For people participating at the Fight For Air Climb at Salesforce Tower on March 7, the Indy Fuel ticket purchase can be used toward their fundraising goal. The Fight For Air Climb is a unique event that invites individuals, families, groups of friends, corporate teams and first responders to climb up the stairs of Salesforce Tower, a total of 47 floors, 1,054 steps.
