Wisconsin's 2nd LUNG FORCE Expo brings a day of education to clinicians, patients

(April 14, 2016)

Wisconsin’s 2nd Annual LUNG FORCE Expo was held Wednesday, April 6 at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel.

The event had nearly 140 people, including 32 industry vendor representatives at exhibit tables.

Participants engaged in sessions that followed two separate tracks – one for patients and caregivers and a second one for health care professionals. Highlights of the day included recognition of Jenny Kislow as a LUNG FORCE Hero.

Feedback from the event was very positive, with many attendees particularly excited about presentations on MFD’s Community Paramedics program, “Secrets of Happy People,” pulmonary rehab and pest and pesticide management.

Thank you to our turquoise sponsor, the Wisconsin Asthma Coalition; premium exhibitors Aurora Cancer Care, Children’s Community Health Plan and ProHealth Care; and the 16 other industry exhibitors supporting the event. And thank you Dr. Mahr for emceeing the event.
