5th Annual LUNG FORCE Walk A Huge Success
Despite damp, chilly weather, 1000+ turn out to walk in the fight against lung disease

Chilly, damp weather couldn’t stop walkers who turned out to support the American Lung Association in Wisconsin's fifth annual LUNG FORCE Walk.
Walkers turned the Milwaukee Zoo turquoise in the fight against lung cancer and lung disease. 1600 registered walkers representing 122 teams raised over $93,000 in the fight aqainst lung disease while touring the beautiful grounds of the Milwaukee County Zoo. The Lung Association expects the total to rise, as funding raising continues. Top three fundraising teams are:
- Miels for Miles, $6,253
- ALK Warriors, $4,307
- Memory Walkers, $3,310
The top Individual fundraiser was Conne Dake, Memory Walkers, with $2,245.
