The Time to Stand Up for Quality and Affordable Healthcare Is NOW
Lend your support by joining us in standing up for quality and affordable healthcare for all.
The proposed American Health Care Act moves to a vote in the Senate and if adopted, the AHCA will have a direct negative impact on patients with lung disease and lung cancer.
More specifically, the American Health Care Act will:
- Leave far too many people without quality and affordable healthcare coverage.
- Roll back key safeguards that protect patients with pre-existing conditions
- Significantly weaken Medicaid, leaving the quality of care and leaving fewer people covered.
The Senate needs to work to provide quality and affordable healthcare with key patient protections necessary for the health and safety of the more than 32 million Americans living with lung disease.
By signing this petition, I call on the Senate to reject the American Health Care Act and instead work on healthcare legislation that protect Medicaid and will provide quality and affordable healthcare for all Americans, especially those with lung disease.
