Linda R., SC

I am a 64-year-old woman with adult onset environmental asthma that I have had since my late thirties. I realize without purer air quality outside, my lungs will not improve, and I will struggle to breathe when outside.

Burning of trash and debris is allowed here, which release toxins into the air we breathe! I do not know about any other regulations in our state. We need our water to stay clean (free of chemicals) and the outside air we breathe to be free of pollutants to keep other people from suffering from asthma and other lung diseases.
