Vice President of Finance for Physician Integration
Larry Blumenthal grew up in Arizona, and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. He subsequently completed his Master of Business Administration at the University of Phoenix.
Blumenthal has 20+ years of finance and operations management experience, and has experience in senior financial roles at companies including Sage Software, Thunderbird School of Global Management, Good Night Pediatrics and Dignity Health.
Blumenthal is the Vice President of Finance for Physician Integration at Dignity Health. Dignity Health is one of the leading healthcare providers in the southwest, with 39 acute care facilities and over 60,000 employees in Arizona, California and Nevada. Prior to joining Dignity, Blumenthal served as the Chief Financial Officer for Good Night Pediatrics and Desert Neonatology Associates.
Blumenthal joined the American Lung Association in Arizona over seven years ago. He has served and completed terms as Chair of the American Lung Association in Arizona, as well as Chair of the American Lung Association Southwest Region. He currently serves as a member of the National Board of Directors, as Co-Chair of the Regional Relations Committee, and as a member of the National Finance Committee.
As a professional with over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, he has seen the impact of lung disease and asthma on the community. He understands both the physical and financial impact that lung disease has on individuals and the community. On a personal level, Blumenthal has asthma himself, and is all too familiar with the challenges that it presents. This personal and professional experience with lung disease has made Blumenthal a strong advocate for the American Lung Association.
