Allison Hickey

Executive Vice President, Mountain Pacific Region

Allison Hickey is Executive Vice President, Mountain Pacific Region. Prior to this, she served as President and CEO of American Lung Association of the Mountain Pacific until the Lung Association united into a single nationwide organization on July 1, 2017.

Allison Hickey has more than 20 years' experience in the nonprofit and business sectors. She joined the American Lung Association of the Mountain Pacific in December 2015. Before joining the Lung Association, Hickey was with the American Diabetes Association for nine years in a range of progressively more responsible roles in Arkansas and California.

Hickey has led staff and volunteer teams in Tennessee, Arkansas and California in meeting and exceeding strategic goals, and has a track record of empowering teams for sustainable success. Prior to the American Diabetes Association, she was with the YMCA of Middle Tennessee where she launched her non-profit career. Before switching to nonprofit work, she was successful in the private sector as an executive in the marketing and promotions field working with Fortune 500 companies such as Disney, Burger King, Taco Bell, Warner Brothers, Mitsubishi and Nextel.

A native of Tacoma, WA, she graduated from the University of Redlands (CA) with a degree in Business Administration. Since 2010, Hickey served as a University of California at Irvine Public Health 101 and 202 guest lecturer, a Stop Diabetes Grants Class Facilitator and Instructor, and a member of the Department of Public Health Advisory Board of Directors.

Hickey has several personal connections to lung disease and is passionate about the mission of the American Lung Association.
