The American Lung Association welcomes Jeffrey Seyler as Chief Division Officer for its Eastern Division. As Chief Division Officer, Seyler will enhance the presence and impact of the American Lung Association in the Eastern Division - comprised of 25 states – and will lead the field management structure to support executive directors, field revenue staff and volunteers. Previously, Seyler served as the executive vice president of the American Lung Association, Northeast Region.

“Jeff has been instrumental to the success of the Northeast Region, and he has played a key role in growing our national brand as the nation’s leading resource for lung health,” said National President and CEO of the American Lung Association Harold Wimmer. “We are proud to welcome him to his new and well-deserved position.”

During Seyler's 24-year career with the American Lung Association, he built a dynamic team of innovative nonprofit leaders, diversified funding sources, achieved revenue growth, strengthened the organization's balance sheet and championed a regional branding strategy to increase awareness and impact of the organization. Under his leadership, Seyler expanded the organization’s Bike Treks and Fight for Air Climb fundraising events, provided the strategic leadership required to pass smokefree laws in each of the Northeast Region states and launched LUNG FORCE Walks across the region.

“I am looking forward to growing the American Lung Association’s impact and presence throughout the eastern United States,” Seyler said. “Together, we will help more patients, advocate in more communities, support more lifesaving lung health research and continue our mission of saving lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.”

Nationally, Seyler is a long-time active member of the American Lung Association's Executive Leadership Team, strategizing on nationwide organizational direction and operational best practices. He has served on several national committees including Field Operations, Finance, Marketing and Communications, and the CEO Search Committee.

Seyler lives in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, with his wife Abney and his children Charly and Cally.
