Join the Fight for Air Climb! Individuals and teams climb all 47 floors of the US Bank building, downtown - totaling 1,034 steps! More than a run, more than a walk, the Fight for Air Climb is a unique event with an exciting challenge for anyone.
Please join the thousands of individuals across the nation who believe in the cause and will climb in their communities as well.

Registration and Fundraising
Non-Refundable Registration Fee: $25
Minimum Fundraising Requirement: $100

Registration Fee - $15 Early Bird l $25 after January 11, 2013
Day-of Registration - $35
Ultimate Challenge Climbers
Registration Fee - $40 Early Bird l $50 after January 11, 2013
Day-of Registration - $60
Climbers have until event day to meet their minimum fundraising requirement of $100 per person. Climbers who have not met their fundraising requirement on event day will need to pay the outstanding amount in order to participate in the climb. Pledges made to the American Lung Association on behalf of climbers who cancel or do not participate in the Climb are non-refundable.
Online registration will end at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. DAY OF EVENT REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE. To register after the close of online registration, please contact the office at email@example.com or 262.703.4200.

Climber - Climb 47 floors of the U.S. Bank Center by running, walking or doing a combination of the two.
-Climb as an Individual
-Climb in the Corporate Team Challenge*
-Climb in the Family and Friends Challenge*
*Corporate Team Challenge - Teams of five or more will compete for the title of Fastest Corporate Team. The top three Corporate Teams will be awarded. Fuel the fun and competition in your work place by creating multiple teams.
*Family and Friends - Invite your family and friends to step up to the challenge with you and build a team of 5 or more people.
Half Climb Challenge - Worried about making it to the top? Then the Half Climb is for you!
Ultimate Climb Challenge - Climb the stairwell as many times as you can between the hours of 7 - 8 a.m. There are 47 floors (94 flights, 1,034 steps).
Anthem's Firefighter Challenge - Teams of five firefighters will compete for the title of the Fastest Fire Department. Firefighters climb in full gear (mask, boots, tank, etc.) excluding their ax. Firefighters can also climb the Individual Firefighter Challenge for the title of the Fastest Firefighter. Police Departments, SWAT teams and other First Responders (in full gear) may also participate in Anthem's Firefighter Challenge.
Fight for Air Climb Stairwell Signs
Honor a loved one affected by lung disease.
Remember a loved one who lost their battle with lung disease.
Support a loved one who is participating in the Climb.
Signs will be placed in the stairwell for all climbers to see as they climb to the top. After the event, we will mail you a commemorative sign.

Event Day Information
March 23, 2013
Start Times - Participants will receive their start times prior to the event via email. They will also be posted online 24 hours prior to the event. Start times will be assigned in waves. Teams will be assigned the same wave. Waves will start at 7 a.m. for Ultimate Climbers and 8:30 a.m. for Individual Climbers and Teams. Participants should arrive 45 minutes prior to their start time. Climbers will climb individually on 3-5 second intervals in their wave time.

*Packet pick-up is not mandatory, but recommended! You may also pick up your packet on event day before you climb. Each person must be present to pick up packet. Your minimum fundraising is due when you pick up your packet.
All participants will receive a technical tee and bib. Eligible participants will receive an Alumni Pin or 5-Year Alumni Pin! Timing chips will be given out on event day.
Beat Your Time - After you make it to the top of the U.S. Bank Center, make sure to stop at the Beat Your Time table to see if your climb time has improved from previous years. If it has you will receive an official "I Beat My Time" ribbon to attach to your medal! Don't forget to visit the onsite engraver located in the Lakeview Market! For $10 you can get your climb time engraved on the back of your Fight for Air Climb medal!
Gear Check - Gear Check will be available to all participants on the day of the event. Please leave any valuable items at home, as we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items at the event.
Water Stations - Water stations are located throughout the stairwells, at the top of the building and in the refreshment area. Water bottles are not allowed in the stairwells, as it is a safety hazard.
Ticket to Climb
Raise more than $1,000 and be eligible to climb for FREE at any of the other Upper Midwest Region stairclimb events in 2012. No registration fee or additional fundraising required.

Whether the Fight for Air Climb on March 23, 2013 at the U.S. Bank Building is your first stairclimb or you’re climbing again to set a new personal record, Fight for Air Boot Camp will help you reach your goals.
During Boot Camp, NX Level will provide an instructor led workout. Whether you are a Weekend Warrior or a First Time Climber, NX Level will provide a wide variety of training platforms that will best fit your needs. Our Certified Kettlebell and Strength and Conditioning trainers are here to convert everyone’s weakness into their strengths.
Fight for Air Boot Camps will be held on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m and is based on fundraising.

Safety Procedures and Climber Etiquette
Please abide by the following:
Safety: Trained medical personnel will be located in the stairwell and at the top of the building.
Emergency Procedures: In the event that an emergency is reported in the building, you will be instructed what to do over the P.A. sound system. Please wait for instructions, do not panic.
Water Stations: Water stations are located throughout the stairwells, at the top of the building and in the refreshment area.
Passing: Always announce your presence and your intent to pass the slower climber. Climb on the rail side of the stairwell. Pass on the left side.
