Each year, too many lives are lost to lung disease and this is your chance to walk, raise money and make an impact in their honor. By joining the Fight for Walk you are making the commitment to fight lung disease so everyone can breathe easier- including you!
Event Overview
Families, individuals and teams join together in a walk to raise awareness for the 35 million Americans who suffer from asthma. Participants work together to fundraise.
Please join the thousands of individuals across the nation who believe in the cause and will walk in their communities as well.
You can get involved by:
- Registering as a Team Captain
- Joining an existing Team as a new registrant
- Signing up as an individual registrant
- Sponsoring the event
- Joining the event planning committee
- Making a contribution supporting a registrant

Pricing: $25 Registration Fee until March 20th, 2011*
$35 Registration Fee March 21st – April 29th*
$40 Registration Fee April 30th – May 1st*
*Registration fee is not included in the required $100.00 min. Fundraising.

Register now to participate in this fun and flat course, with gorgeous views of the sound, Mt. Rainier, and plenty of fresh air. Join us for the walk or the run, and start fundraising NOW to be entered into drawings for great prizes that will be awarded March 20th, 2011 at our KICK OFF event.
All participants who individually raise at least $100 will receive a complimentary t-shirt.

Magnuson Park Metro bus routes 74 and 75 serve the park along Sand Point Way N.E. Connections are in the University District (Routes 74 and 75) and Northgate (Route 75).

Parking
Magnuson Park parking lot and parallel parking is in designated areas (65th). Very large parking lot (77th).
Fundraising
We encourage you to fund raise at least $100 toward the cause. This is easier than you think! It is as easy as asking 10 friends for $10. Coaching packets and trainings are available. Please contact our Seatle office for more details (206-441-5100) or email Amy Holan at aholan@lungmtpacific.org.
Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law. The American Lung Association ® is a registered 501 (c) 3 organization. Please make checks payable to the American Lung Association.
