Each year, too many lives are lost to lung disease and this is your chance to climb, raise money and make an impact in their honor. By joining the Fight for Air Arena Climb, you are making the commitment to fight lung disease so everyone can breathe easier- including you!
Event Information
You may register at any time on this website by clicking on one of the registration choices listed under "Sign Up" menu on the left. The climb will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Mohegan Sun Arena, 255 Highland Park Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. Registration starts at noon and the climb begins at 1:00pm.
In addition to the $25 registration fee, each participant is required to raise an additional $100 for the fight against lung disease. Participants who individually raise the minimum fundraising goal of $100 will receive a complimentary t-shirt.

Event Overview
Families, individuals and teams join together in a climb to raise awareness for the 35 million Americans who suffer from lung disease including asthma, COPD and lung cancer. Participants work together to raise valuable funds to continue the work of the American Lung Association to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
Please join the Ricke Family Team (shown below) and the thousands of individuals across the nation who believe in the cause and climb to fight for air!
You can get involved by:
- Registering as a Team Captain
- Joining an existing Team as a new registrant
- Signing up as an individual registrant
- Sponsoring the event
- Joining the event planning committee
- Making a contribution supporting a registrant

Public Transportation
Those looking for public transportation may go to http://www.lctabus.com to find the closest bus from your location to the Mohegan Sun Arena.
Parking
The Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza parking lot is located adjacent to the venue and is accessible via Highland Park Blvd. or Mundy St. The Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza offers free parking for participants of the walk from noon to 4:00pm.
Hotels
The following two hotels will have a block of rooms set aside for March 23rd and March 24th, 2012 for participants who want to pay for overnight accomodations.

Fundraising
