Event Information
The Cleveland Fight For Air Walk will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at
Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica (formerly known as Nautica Pavilion) is located in the flats next to the Powerhouse. Nautica Pavilion is an open-air amphitheater located on the west bank of The Flats in downtown Cleveland. The venue offers a view of the Cuyahoga River, the lights of Downtown Cleveland, and the picturesque lighted bridges of the area.
The Cleveland Fight For Air Walk offers 2 walk routes – a 3 mile and a 1 mile route. Participants can choose either route to walk at his or her own pace along downtown Cleveland’s waterfront and many attractions.
Friends, families, individuals and teams join together to raise awareness for the 35 million Americans who suffer from lung disease.
Participants raise funds to support the American Lung Association’s mission: To save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. All participants who individually raise and turn in at least $100 by walk day will receive an official event t-shirt on the day of the walk.
You may register at any time on this website by following the links on the left side of this page or by calling 216-532-8201. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. The actual walk begins at 10:00 a.m.
After completing the walk, enjoy the celebration party with lots of music and food. Take advantage of the health screenings and exhibits and there will be activities for kids. Also, don’t forget to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win some great prizes.
