The FIRST TIME
you attempt to use your social networking account on this site, you will have to:
1. Log into your social networking site.
2. Give permission for the American Lung Association (ALA) to access your social networking profile.
3. Validate your social network profile by either LINKING it to a new or existing LungUSA.org online account.
Existing Accounts
If you already have a LungUSA.org website account or if you have ALREADY REGISTERED FOR THIS EVENT: During the social networking validation step, select the option labeled “Have an account already? Log in here”.
New Accounts
If you DON’T already have a LungUSA.org website account: During the social networking validation step, verify the information that was obtained from your social networking site and click “Register”.

4 Ways to Participate

Start a Team
Choose this if you would like to start your own team for your friends, family, or company. You will have the opportunity to set up your team, create a team page, and also have a personal fundraising page.
Join a Team
Choose this if you want to join a team that has already been set up by your team captain. You will be able to see how your fundraising supports your team and you will also be able to have a personal fundraising page. Even if you join a team, you are still required to raise the minimum fundraising amount for an individual.
Join as an Individual
Choose this if you are not starting or joining a team and would prefer to participate as an individual. You will be able to set up a personal fundraising page to share with your friends to support your fundraising efforts.
Volunteer
If you prefer not to participate but would rather volunteer for the event, click here. You will still be able to join a team and set up a personal fundraising page if you wish to raise money for the event.

3 Ways to Donate

Sponsor a Climber
Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

Thank you for your interest in supporting the American Lung Association! We are excited to offer some extra special gear for your efforts and to offer encouragement along the way.

The American Lung Association in Georgia wants to reward you for your fundraising efforts. You’ve worked hard in support of our Fight For Air. As a thank you for your support of our Mission you may earn a medal based on awards categories, custom event t-shirt and perhaps additional prizes!

We like to have fun at our events and you may find restaurant gift certificates, cool merchandise with our logo and more are in our prize closet waiting for you to win! Set your sights high, let this motivate you to raise a little more.

At least three weeks following the event day, incentive gift redemption certificates will be emailed to you from FightForAirEvents@lung.org. If you do not have a unique email address and share with another participant, your certificate will be mailed to address included with your registration.

Your incentive gift redemption certificate is our token of appreciation for your hard work. You may redeem for your exclusive American Lung Association Climb gifts by following the instructions on the certificate. Each certificate will allow redemption of one item at or below the level you achieved. Your gift will be shipped within 15 days after placing your order.

Please add FightForAirEvents@lung.org to your email address book to ensure delivery of your incentive gift redemption certificate.

Any individual that raises their $100 minimum fundraising goal, will be entered into a drawing to win the following:

A one night Special Occasion Package with Deluxe accommodations, 1 king or 2 double beds. Package ammentities include 1 bottle of champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, valet parking, rose petal turn down service. Package offered on a Friday or Saturday evening. Over $400 VALUE!!

Each $100 raised after your initial $100 minimum and registration fee, you will get your name entered in the drawing again! For example, if an individual raises $1,000, you will get your name entered in the drawing (10) times!

TEAMS: Each team that raises $1,000 will get ALL the team members entered into the drawing. Each additional $1,000 raised they ALL get their names entered again!
