The FIRST TIME
you attempt to use your social networking account on this site, you will have to:
1. Log into your social networking site.
2. Give permission for the American Lung Association (ALA) to access your social networking profile.
3. Validate your social network profile by either LINKING it to a new or existing LungUSA.org online account.
Existing Accounts
If you already have a LungUSA.org website account or if you have ALREADY REGISTERED FOR THIS EVENT: During the social networking validation step, select the option labeled “Have an account already? Log in here”.
New Accounts
If you DON’T already have a LungUSA.org website account: During the social networking validation step, verify the information that was obtained from your social networking site and click “Register”.

3 Ways to Donate

Sponsor a Climber
Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

Are you signed up to participate for an American Lung Association event? Explore these resources to assist you. Here you will find things such as downloadable forms and information to help you with your fundraising. Are you considering starting a team or already a team captain? Check out our "Team Resources" page where you can download a copy of the “Team Captain Handbook”.

As soon as you have registered be sure to log in to your Participant Center. You can customize your personal fundraising page by uploading photos and editing the text that displays on your personal page. You can upload your email contacts and send out personalized emails asking your friends and family to pledge to you in your "Fight For Air". There are sample donation ask emails and thank you letters or a blank email template that allows you to create your own email. Need help registering? Visit our Registration Instructions page.
