Each year, too many lives are lost to lung disease and this is your chance to walk or run,
raise money and make an impact in their honor.
By joining the Fight For Air Run/Walk you are making the commitment to
fight lung disease so everyone can breathe easier- including you!
Families, individuals and teams join together in a Run/Walk to raiseawareness for the 35 million
Americans who suffer from asthma. Participants work together to fundraise.

Fight for Air Run/Walk Jacksonville- Rock Out to the 80s!

Join the American Lung Association as their Fight for Air Run/Walk goes back in time to the years of big hair and rock 'n' roll!
The 80s themed Run/Walk will be playing all of the hits and have a best dressed competition for PETS and their Owners to show their love for the 80s.
Costumes are not required but prizes will be given to the best puppy dressed! Adult Runner/Walker, Child Runner/Walker and
Team with the best 80s inspired attire will also receive an award!
- The 5K (3.1 miles) course is only for runners/walkers. To avoid injury to our pets or runners/walkers.
Pets are not allowed to participate in the 5K course.
- The ONE MILE FUN RUN is for runners/ walkers and PETS!
- We will have 80s music,food, fun activities for kids and a fantastic view of the St. Johns River!
Adult Registration Prices for 5K
Until May 13th - $20.00
May 14th until August 16th - $30.00
EVENT DAY Walk Ups -August 17th - $40.00
All Adult runner/walkers will receive a Tech shirt!
PETS are FREE to come!
Children Registration Prices for 5K and One Mile Fun Run:
Children age 5-12 are $20.00 at all times.
(They will receive a t-shirt with registration fee.)
Children ages 4 and under are FREE , but will not receive a t-shirt.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups:
Children 12 and under, 13-19,20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,and
70 and over.

From Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)
The Landing is an easy 20-minute drive from Jacksonville International Airport. Exit airport onto Airport Exit, which becomes Dixie Clipper Road (FL-102 E) and travel approximately one mile. Take the I-95 South ramp towards Jacksonville. Travel on I-95 South (do not take I-295 by-pass) for approximately 10 miles, looking for Exit 353B on the left for Union St toward Downtown/Sports Complex. Next, turn left onto W Union St and then right onto Main St N. Turn right onto W Bay St and take your first left onto S Laura St. Travel till it dead-ends at Independent Drive and The Landing.
From the North & South
Downtown Jacksonville is accessible from I-95 North and South at exits Monroe Street 352C, Forsyth Street 352B or Church Street 353A. Travel east and turn right onto Laura Street until it dead-ends at Independent Drive and The Landing.
From the West
Downtown Jacksonville is accessible from the west via I-10 East. From I-10 East, take I-95 North and exit at Forsyth Street exit 352B or Monroe Street exit 352C. Travel east and turn right onto Laura Street until it dead-ends at Independent Drive and The Landing.
From the East/Beaches
From Neptune Beach travel westbound on Atlantic Boulevard for about 8 miles. Take Arlington Expressway for approximately 8 miles, and cross the Mathews Bridge. Arlington Expressway becomes State Street. From State Street, turn left onto Laura Street and take it till it dead-ends at Independent Drive and The Landing.
From the Jacksonville Beach/Ponte Vedra area take J. Turner Butler Boulevard West approximately 10 miles until the I-95 North exit. Travel 5 miles on I-95 North to Prudential Drive/Main Street. Exit at Main Street and travel across the Main Street Bridge. Take a left at the first light (Bay Street) until you reach Laura Street. Turn left (south) onto Laura Street until it dead-ends at Independent Drive and The Landing.

Metered parking spaces can be found along Downtown streets near the Jacksonville Landing. Downtown parking is FREE on the weekends.
We encourage you to fundraise at least $100 toward the cause. This is easier than you think!
It is as easy as asking 10 friends for $10. Coaching packets and trainings are available.
