Each year, too many lives are lost to lung disease and this is your chance to climb, raise money and make an impact in their honor. By joining the Fight for Air Climb, you are making the commitment to fight lung disease so everyone can breathe easier- including you!

AFTER PARTY LOCATION:
All participants are encouraged to head to the after party at Black Bear Saloon (187 Allyn Street, Hartford) following the climb. Family members and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate with all climbers! Breakfast, drink specials, and music won’t stop until the last participant leaves. Expect fun for the whole family!
Parking is available under the building in the City Place parking garage (you can enter the garage from Pearl Street). The parking garage will be open until 3PM. Parking will be validated by security in the building lobby. The garage clearance is 6ft. If your vehicle will not fit or you will be staying later than 3PM free on street parking is available on the weekends in Hartford.

** You will be given two opportunities to test your run at City Place I prior to the climb. As soon as the dates are finalized you will receive a Save the Date Participants and prospective climbers will ONLY be permitted inside the building during these practice climbs. All will be asked to sign a waiver prior to using the stairwell- Feel free to bring an iPod, water bottle, and stopwatch to the practice climb. Practice runs will not be timed.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
- Register as a Team Captain
- Join an existing Team as a new registrant
- Sign up as an individual registrant
- Sponsor the event
- Join the event planning committee
- Make a contribution supporting a registrant
All participants who register before September 30 using the discount code upne42, will receive a $10 discount on the registration fee as well as a special edition Early Bird t-shirt!
We encourage you to fund raise at least $100 toward the cause. This is easier than you think! It is as easy as asking 10 friends for $10. Coaching packets and trainings are available. Please contact our office for more details (800-LUNG-USA).
Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law. The American Lung Association ® is a registered 501 (c) 3 organization. Please make checks payable to the American Lung Association of the Northeast.
