Event Information

Each year, too many lives are lost to lung disease and this is your chance to climb, raise money and make an impact in their honor. By joining the Fight for Air Climb, you are making the commitment to fight lung disease so everyone can breathe easier- including you!

Event Description:
One breath and one stair at a time, the American Lung Association in Colorado and an anticipated 2,400 Coloradans will climb Republic Plaza, the tallest building in the Rocky Mountain West, to take steps in our fight to prevent lung disease and promote lung health. This year's goal is to raise $450,000 for the programs and services of ALAC. Climbers will take off in 8-second intervals and climb 56 floors and 1,098 steps to reach the stunning views of Denver's skyline. Upon completeing the climb individuals will take the elevator back to the lobby for food, fun and interactive booths. Participants can climb as a team or as an individual, although everyone completes the full climb and must meet the $65 fundraising minimum.
