Sponsor a Walker
Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

Great beginnings arrived on Oct. 10, 2010 at Crescent Bay Park in Santa Monica with the first annual Los Angeles Fight For Air Walk. Twenty teams joined sponsors, guests and volunteers to participate in the fight for healthy lungs and healthy air. Over 200 supporters enjoyed the donated hospitality of Qure Water, Jorritos Sodas, Mrs. May's Naturals, Western Bagel, Co-Opportunity of Santa Monica, Starbucks Coffee and Albertson's Market. Chivas USA, Jeanette DePatie of the TheFatChick.com and our sponsors provided interactive entertainment while the walkers waited for the start signal. Along the way, walkers were guided and cheered on by the Law Enforcement Explorers from the Santa Monica Police Department. It's not too late to help! Donations to the event may still be made. Help us heat up that thermometer and reach our goal.
