The FIRST TIME
you attempt to use your social networking account on this site, you will have to:
1. Log into your social networking site.
2. Give permission for the American Lung Association (ALA) to access your social networking profile.
3. Validate your social network profile by either LINKING it to a new or existing LungUSA.org online account.
Existing Accounts
If you already have a LungUSA.org website account or if you have ALREADY REGISTERED FOR THIS EVENT: During the social networking validation step, select the option labeled “Have an account already? Log in here”.
New Accounts
If you DON’T already have a LungUSA.org website account: During the social networking validation step, verify the information that was obtained from your social networking site and click “Register”.

4 Ways to Participate

Start a Team
Choose this if you would like to start your own team for your friends, family, or company. You will have the opportunity to set up your team, create a team page, and also have a personal fundraising page.
Join a Team
Choose this if you want to join a team that has already been set up by your team captain. You will be able to see how your fundraising supports your team and you will also be able to have a personal fundraising page.
Join as an Individual
Choose this if you are not starting or joining a team and would prefer to participate as an individual. You will be able to set up a personal fundraising page to share with your friends to support your fundraising efforts.
Volunteer
If you prefer not to participate but would rather volunteer for the event, click here. You will still be able to join a team and set up a personal fundraising page if you wish to raise money for the event.

Donate

3 Ways to Donate

Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

Public Transportation

MUNI- Treasure Island is served by the San Francisco MUNI 108-Treasure Island bus line. The 108 line departs for Treasure Island from the temporary Transbay Terminal (Howard St. at Beale St. in downtown San Francisco) approximately every 20 minutes. For more information on schedule and fare rates please　visit www.sfmuni.com.

- US-101 to 　I-80 EAST
- Take exit 4A on the left for Treasure Island onto Treasure Island Road
- Continue on Avenue of Palms
- Turn Right on 9th Street

From　880 or 580:
- I-80 WEST Towards San Francisco
- Take exit 4A on the left for Treasure Island　onto Hillcrest Road　
- Continue on Treasure Island Road
- Continue on Avenue of Palms
- Turn Right on 9th Street

Please observe all posted on-Island speed limits. From there, follow the road past the main gate / guard station and continue on Avenue of Palms.

The start/finish line is on the Great Lawn on the right.

Parking
Free parking will be available on Treasure Island by the event site on 9th Street just past the Great Lawn.　 You will be directed by parking staff to the appropriate parking lot.　 *Please note　those individuals　who carpool will　receive a special thank you incentive prize.
