The University of Michigan Health System (UMHS) has a long history of caring for patients with airway diseases. Our mission is to deliver excellent patient care and to develop new knowledge about the lung in health and disease.

Drs. MeiLan Han and Alan Baptist are the principal investigators for the American Lung Association Airways Clinical Research Center (ACRC) at UMHS. Dr. Han is a pulmonologist with expertise in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Dr. Baptist is an allergist with expertise in asthma.

The clinical research program is located in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan Hospital and our Domino's Farms location. Among the Separate areas also serve as clinical facilities for our asthma and COPD patients at each location.
