Take Action: Advocate for Research
Help us advocate to increase America's investment into lifesaving research by promoting increased funding to find cures for lung cancer, COPD, asthma and all lung diseases. Learn more »
Since 1915, our researchers have made significant contributions/milestones in the fight against lung disease by revolutionizing treatment and unlocking secrets of the body's immune system. As such, premature babies are less likely to die for respiratory distress syndrome; tuberculosis (TB) rates are at an all-time low; and young and old with chronic lung diseases are benefitting from improved treatment options such as lung transplantation, oxygen therapy and genetically-based medicines.
We are continually seeking innovative ways to expand and enhance the impact of our lung disease research, which includes collaboration with other lung health focused organizations and new initiatives. Learn more »
