LUNG FORCE Heroes
On April 7, 2015 my family changed forever. My dad was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, the most aggressive form of lung cancer. He endured grueling rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. He was in remission for four wonderful months then it came back with a vengeance. I lost my dad, my hero, on February 12, 2016. He was so brave, he is truly my hero, and now he is my angel. The treatments for small cell lung cancer have not advanced any in the last 10 years, I hope and pray that one day there will be more long term survivors of this cancer.
