LUNG FORCE Heroes
It was only a few days ago on October 5 of 2016 that I found out, within one hour, that my dad and I both have cancer. My dad had it several years ago. They did surgery and it was gone. Now it's back and in his bones as well. They will try hormone therapy to slow it down and that's all.
I have non-small cell lung cancer, adenocarcinoma. I went today for a PET scan and will see my doctor on October 20 to decide what treatment I need. I am holding on to my FAITH with all I have right now. I know I can beat this and I will fight till the end My dad has no one but me really to help him. My 11-year-old nephew lives with him too. I will try to do all I can, for as long as I can . My brother will be home in 6 months. That will help a lot. He can move in with Dad. So please pray for my family, as I will for all of yours. Thank you for sharing all your stories. I am not alone!
