Volunteer

Lung cancer volunteers play a vital role in the fight against lung cancer. They help us build a community that provides hope, guidance and support to lung cancer patients and their families. Cancer can make a person feel powerless; volunteers ease this burden. Volunteering for lung cancer is a great way to help people in need, raise awareness about lung cancer and give back. You can volunteer through an organization such as the American Lung Association, or find your own way to make a difference in someone's life.

The Lung Association's greatest asset is its team of diverse, active and engaged volunteers who collectively serve as the primary conduit for achieving the mission of saving lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. Since the Lung Association was founded more than 100 years ago, volunteers have been a vital part of our work. Volunteers provide assistance both locally and nationally. They are critical to the success of our special events and community initiatives. Contact your local Lung Association office today to find out how you can be on our team as we are fighting lung cancer.
