Preventing Human Metapneumovirus
Preventing hMPV is similar to preventing any other viral illness:
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing, or
- Cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve instead of your hands
- Throw away tissues right after you use them
- Wash your hands thoroughly
