If you are 65 years of age or older, you are eligible for Medicare. Medicare may help you pay for your healthcare appointments, medications and medical equipment. Visit the Medicare site to learn about enrolling.

Other Health Insurance Options

If you are under 65 years of age, you are likely eligible for health insurance through:

  • your employer,
  • your state's health insurance marketplace, or
  • Medicaid

If your employer provides a health insurance plan, talk to your human resources department about enrolling. If your employer does not, or you are unemployed, please visit to find out your health insurance options. You might be eligible for free coverage through Medicaid, or a subsidy to help you pay for coverage through your state marketplace.
