Guide to Asthma Policy for Housing and Schools

Guide to Asthma Policy for Housing and SchoolsIn 2009, the American Lung Association released the National Asthma Public Policy Agenda which highlighted policy interventions that have been proven effective in reducing the burden of asthma nationwide. To help protect the health of children and adults living with asthma, this Guide to Asthma Policy for Housing & Schools toolkit was created to support the work of community advocates and policy-makers focused on asthma policy in homes and schools. Policy change is one of the most significant ways to establish long-term, sustainable programs, and many communities have already made great strides in this arena. This toolkit offers the tools, templates, and resources that can help move asthma policy forward.
