Vanderbilt’s Pulmonary Rehab staff has experience working with patients who have lung disease just like you. With your help, our staff will work to understand your medical history, help you set appropriate goals, develop a plan to meet those goals, support your progress, and celebrate your success. We provide a team approach with experienced staff trained in multiple disciplines. In addition, a full range of group education classes (including nutrition, medications, chest physiotherapy, anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system, inspiratory muscle training, etc.) are taught by a dietician, health psychologist, nurses, and exercise physiologists. Our focus is to combine exercise and education to help you manage your disease and increase your quality of life.
