Comprehensive Tobacco-free Pulicy Workshops

The American Lung Association invites Omaha businesses are invited to learn about the benefits of a comprehensive tobacco-free or nicotine-free workplace. Benefits of a comprehensive tobacco/nicotine-free workplace include:

  • Saves money
  • Creates a healthy and safe environment
  • Reduces exposure to cancer-causing secondhand and thirdhand smoke2
  • Boosts morale and productivity

There is FREE resources will be provided, including:

  • Review of existing worksite policy
  • Guidance to change or upgrade policy language
  • How to access to tobacco cessation resources
  • Technical assistance
  • Signage
  • Internal and external marketing campaign

All workshops will be held at the UNO Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Space is limited. Registration is required. Please click on the workshop date(s) below that you would like to attend:
