American Lung Association Gears Up for its Sixth annual Fight for Air: Tackle Trump Parc Stair Climb

Stamford, CT - On Saturday, November 22, the American Lung Association of the Northeast will host its sixth annual   stair climb. Registration begins at 8 a.m .and the first climber will take off at 9 a.m. on 1 Broad Street in Stamford, CT.

 The Fight for Air Climb: Tackle Trump Parc takes place in the heart of downtown Stamford. At the climb, participants will walk, run, or race up 34 floors, 588 steps, to the top of Trump Parc. Sometimes called a "vertical road race," teams and individual participants can use the event as a fitness target, race, or a great way to be active and meet new friends.

 The sixth annual Fight for Air: Tackle Trump Parc stair climb is generously sponsored by Stamford Hospital, Statoil, and Trump Parc. The event is also made possible with the support of national Corporate Team sponsor, Kindred Healthcare. 

 “Our Fight for Air climbs are imperative to raising the funds necessary to expand our mission of improving lung health and preventing lung disease”, Jeff Seyler, president and CEO of the American Lung Association for the Northeast said. “ We are grateful to all of our volunteers and our climbers for helping our organization grow and raise awareness about all lung diseases. We’re excited to return to Trump Parc. In the past the event has been very successful and we’re anticipating a great turnout this year.” 

 An after party and awards ceremony will be held at Tiernan’s Bar & Restaurant on 187 Main Street in Stamford, only a few blocks from Trump Parc.
