The LaVernne Koch 2nd Annual Freedom from Smoking Memorial Scholarship is now accepting scholarship applications. The scholarship is aimed to help people in the Omaha Metro community who would to help other quit smoking. Two full scholarships are available.

The LaVernne Koch 2nd Annual Freedom from Smoking Memorial Scholarship is now accepting scholarship applications. The scholarship is aimed to help people in the Omaha Metro community who would to help other quit smoking. Two full scholarships are available.

Scholarship Requirements Due 1/13/17:

  • 1-page letter on how you will to implement the program & include credentials
  • Short 1-paragraph support statement signed from supervisor
  • Must reside, work, or volunteer in the Omaha, Nebraska (within 1 hour)
  • Provide community based classes
  • Promise to provide at least 1 class in 2017

Training Date: February 2, 2017

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
