Robert Denton, M.D.

Dr. Robert Denton has served in the past as President of the Ohio Thoracic Society and is presently on the Executive Committee as a Member-at-Large. This year he also served as chair of the Nominating Committee. He and his family have not only attended the Annual Case Conference for many years (in fact his grandchildren are now attending) but two of his children have been the entertainment for the evening banquet. Each year we can count on Dr. Denton for several things: He usually presents a case at the conference and has often stepped in to moderate at the last minute. He has also been very active in financially supporting the Ohio Thoracic Society Research Fund. He is a volunteer that we can always count on to offer his services.

In addition, each year Dr. Denton serves as the official ATS representative to the American Lung Association of Ohio's North Coast Pulmonary Disease Conference, the largest respiratory meeting in the state of Ohio. He gives up a day and a half from his pulmonology practice to serve as moderator at the actual event, keeping things professional and on track.
