Find a Clinical Trial

Each time a person with lung disease faces a treatment decision, it is important to explore all options. The American Lung Association recommends that you consider clinical trials as soon as you are diagnosed and every time you have to make a treatment decision.

Clinical trials are carefully monitored scientific research studies. Regulated in the United States by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), they test how well new medical approaches work in people. Each study answers scientific questions and tries to find better ways to prevent, screen for, diagnose or treat a disease.

We want you to be aware of all treatment opportunities. Learn more about clinical trial programs in your area by searching below and be sure to discuss with your doctor whether a clinical trial is right for you.

If you are an institution and would like to list your study on our websites, please view Register Your Clinical Trials with the American Lung Association.
