Smoke Free Wisconsin

The American Lung Association in Wisconsin is a proud supporter and advocate for smoke-free legislation to improve the air quality and lung health in our state.  On July 5th, 2010, Wisconsin workplaces became smoke free to help improve, and even save, the lives of thousands of workers and customers who are exposed to the deadly effects of secondhand smoke every day.  Our fight isn't over as there are still plenty of people who want to reverse or create exceptions for this law and we will work tirelessly to protect the health of our state.
